A strategic investment in a cleaner, greener & healthier future
In 2005, we acquired a thirty plus acre piece of land in the arid state of Rajasthan. After four years of intense effort & investment, we transformed it into a thriving bio-organic farm, with various fruit trees, dairy cattle, etc.,
We successfully ‘reclaimed’ the land from the destructive clutch of harmful chemicals, and restored it to its ‘natural / biological’ state of being.
Today, the farm continues to sustain and provide livelihood to at least 15 people in this backward region of India.
Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC) is a planned industrial development project between India’s capital, Delhi and its financial hub, Mumbai. DMIC is one of the world’s largest infrastructure projects with an estimated investment of USD 90 billion and includes eight investment regions of which two are to be developed in Phase I of DMIC at Khushkhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana and Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar in Rajasthan. The work is progressing at a rapid pace, with the dedicated freight corridor expected to be completed by 2021.
Agricultural Goods Loading Yard is being developed on the older broad guage line between Delhi-Ahmedabad-Mumbai which is also being doubled, and electrified. This will substantially divert short haul goods & passenger traffic from the Mumbai-Ratlam-Delhi line. Sumerpur / Jawai Bandh being the largest Agricultural Produce Market (Krishi Mandi) of the Pali-Marwar reigion, the entire area will enjoy double benefit of DMIC plus the new line. Thius entire project including Loading Yard is expected to be completed by 2021.
